Church Ministries

The ministries offered at Calvary Baptist Church are designed to help people learn how they can know that they have eternal life through Jesus Christ, as well as teach them how they can grow in their personal relationship with the Lord once they have called upon Him as their Savior & Lord.

Adult Ministries

The ministries offered at Calvary Baptist Church are designed to help people learn how they can know that they have eternal life through Jesus Christ, as well as teach them how they can grow in their personal relationship with the Lord once they have called upon Him as their Savior & Lord.

Sunday School
In adult studies, the Bible becomes a road map. Studying together helps us find God's direction for our lives.

One on One Discipleship
Through discipleship, help is given so that people can receive a firm foundation on what they believe and why they believe it. As this is done, a friendship develops through shared trials, triumphs, and prayers.

Outreach
Telling others about eternal life is of the utmost importance to our church. We have an excellent evangelistic Outreach that helps you to share your faith with others. "His last command is our greatest concern." Act 1:8 KJV  "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Men's Bible Study
Our men's Bible study is held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.  It offers men the opportunity to discuss issues concerning men today from a biblical perspective.  It also affords men the opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord so that they can be the men, husbands, and fathers that God desires them to be.

Women's Bible Study
The women's Bible studies are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday and every 3rd Saturday of every month.  They offer women the opportunity to be encouraged through the study of God's Word as they deal with issue that women deal with today.  This ministry affords the women the opportunity to support, exhort, and minister to one another as they deal with the struggles they encounter as women, wives and mothers.

Women's Care & Support Group
The women's care & support group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. The care group offers women an opportunity to fellowship with other women who have experienced some of the same trials and discuss how the Word of God can help them to overcome some of the difficulties women face in today's society.

Young Adults/College & Career Age
The Young Adults' Ministry meets on Sunday mornings at 10 am during the Sunday School hour. This ministry is designed to deal with issues relevant to young people just out of high school and college age adults (late teens & 20's) and to help them grow in their relationship with, and knowledge of, Christ.

50+ Senior Saints Ministry
Our Senior Saints Ministry is designed to minister to our senior saints who are 50 years of age and older. The Senior Saints meet every third Sunday of the month after the morning worship service (day & time is subject to change). It consists of food, fellowship, worship, games, guest speakers, musical guests, and other events. It is an opportunity for our seniors to invite other brothers & sisters in Christ for a wonderful time of fellowship, as well as using this ministry as an opportunity to afford family & friends the opportunity to hear the Gospel message.

Teens' Ministry

Our teenagers meet every Sunday morning to learn how to apply the Word of God to their lives as they deal with the many difficult issue that teens deal with today.  The teenagers at Calvary Baptist Church are actively involved in ministering to the Calvary Baptist Church family (The Calvary Baptist Church Teen Cafe) and the community.  They are afforded opportunities to carry out the "Great Commission" by participating in both local and foreign mission trips.

Children's Ministries

Our children's ministries are designed to help parents teach their children about the utmost importance of having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ

"Kingdom Kids" Children's Special Needs Ministry
All children are precious to God.  Here at Calvary Baptist Church we believe that children are a blessing from the Lord.  Psa 127:3 KJV  "Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."  We believe that every family that visits our church should be ministered to, even those with children who have special needs.
Our special needs ministry is designed to minister to special needs children at their level so that they too can learn that God loves them and that Jesus died for them too!
